We believe that for people to thrive in their faith, they need connection with others in community. Some of the key ways to ensure this happens is to serve alongside others, join a life group and engage with one of our many programmes aimed at teaching and training for personal growth.
We have a strong desire not just to build the local church (which is essential) but to reach out beyond the four walls and bring change and blessing to our community, city, nation and the nations. We would love for you to be part of that, and we look forward to meeting you at one of our Sunday services.

Lead Pastors
Carl & Angela are the Lead Pastors of Life Church.
Paul & Jill Bennetts
Founding Pastors
Paul & Jill founded Life Church in 1987 and remain on staff as part of our leadership team.
Paul & Kathy Cargill
Associate Pastors
Paul & Kathy oversee pastoral care and teaching, including Life Groups and Lifekeys.
David & Jo Bennetts
Associate Pastors
David oversees our worship and creative ministries. David and his wife Jo are also the Worship Pastors.
Jono & Anna Coulbeck
Assistant Pastors
Jono & Anna oversee the La Vida Youth ministry. Jono is also the La Vida Facilities Manager, and Anna oversees the area of Communications.
Jeremiah Nicholls
Assistant Pastor
Jeremiah oversees the Life Kids ministry, as well as the area of New Christians and New People.
Julia McCarthy
Assistant Pastor
Julia is the Campus Pastor of our Selwyn campus and oversees Missions work, Young Adults and Red Frogs ministries.
Mana Harema
Community Pastor
As well as youth-working in Riccarton High and Riccarton Primary Schools, Mana has a role working in our community to identify and meet the needs of residents in our local area.
